Matthew Stubstad – was born in Minneapolis, MN and grew up in the beach town Encintas, CA. He started making films at age 9 with his best friend and his mothers VHS video camera. This creative outlet and hobby became a passion. In high-school Matthew started his own film company, Stubby Productions. In 2006, Matthew chose to attend the USC School of Cinematic Arts with a major in Production. Now out of school Matthew is focusing on directing which is his true passion. Now having directed several notable projects. A recent project of his was was accepted into the 2010 San Diego Film Festival. He is also working with internet famous sketch group Half Day Today! Recently directing a large scale faux movie trailer that received many positive reviews and over half a million views online.
